Blood Moon Festival

Blood Moon Festival (1.0.18 update) was a limited-time event that lasts from 24th Oct to 10th Nov 2022, and was repeated for the same dates in 2023 and will most likely be continued in the future annually.

What's new

All contents in Blood Moon Festival are available per save. When the event is over, unlocked contents will be kept, but saves that haven't unlocked the contents yet will not be able to get them.

• A new ritual: Blood Moon Ritual. You can perform this ritual to get Halloween-exclusive Follower forms and decorations.
• New Follower forms: Cursed Crow, Vampiric Demon and Skeletal Wendigo.
• New Decorations: Blood Moon Candle, Blood Moon Skull, Blood Moon Tree and Blood Moon Pumpkin.

Trivia

• Within the time window of the Festival, there was a real-life blood moon (on the 8th of Nov). Despite this, the Festival was probably not inspired from celestial motion, and was just Halloween related.
• If you missed your opportunity to unlock everything, you can set your system clock back to the original dates of the event.
