The Burrowing Spike Worm is a Darkwood enemy.
Appearance
The Burrowing Spike Worm's main body is bush-like, with branches sticking out of it. It has a large, teethy mouth that is leaking a black liquid.
Behavior
When it does not know of the player, it will stand stationary until it is aware of the player.
When it is aware of the player, it will stand immobile for a while, and then burrow in a random direction. When the Spike Worm is underground, it will leave a trail of damaging spikes until it emerges at a new location. This repeats until the Spike Worm is slain.
