Crown abilities are permanent upgrades acquired using the Heart of a Heretic item, collected by killing Bishops.
Description
For each Heart of a Heretic you collect, there is one ability, with four in total:
- Resurrection - When killed on a Crusade run for the first time, sacrifice a Follower to be resurrected.
- The Hunger - Once a day, eat a Meal
to receive a 
- Omnipresence - Focus whilst on a Crusade to instantly return to base.
- Darkness Within - Receive a Diseased Heart at the beginning of each Crusade run.
These can be collected in any order and will be permanent upgrades in the associated save file.
