Difficulty in Cult of the Lamb determines a ton of variables, starting with the difficulty of Crusading and ending with how much micromanagement you have to do back at Cult HQ.
There are 4 difficulties:
- Easy: Recommended for casual players looking for a fun, accessible experience.
- Medium: Recommended for moderate players looking for a well rounded experience.
- Hard: Recommended for experienced players looking for a challenge.
- Very Hard: Recommended for players with a death wish.
