Description

Saleos is a gigantic Spike Jellyfish, and a follower of Kallamar. He appears as a round, floating bush-like plant monster sporting three yellow eyes with cross-shaped pupils, five sharp tusks, six vine-like tentacles handing below its body, and four wooden pikes covered in moss driven into its head, with a crucifix-shaped pike embedded in the middle. From where each pike is stuck, black blood oozes down Saleos' face.

During the battle, Saleos floats around charging at The Lamb, summoning Spike Jellyfish enemies all the while.

Location

Strategy

Saleos purged

Saleos will use telegraphed attacks, you can easily see what he's doing and dodge accordingly. First he will do a charge attack, the longer he holds it, the faster he will go. You can tell he will charge by the red arrow on the ground. He will spawn enemies, which will happen randomly, and he will shoot spikes. If he holds it for a longer time, he will shoot a fast spiked line that goes across the whole room, and if he holds it for a shorter time, he will shoot spikes around his body, which are pretty slow and don’t go far.

Loot

Trivia

The name "Saleos" comes from The Lesser Key of Solomon, a 17th-century grimoire compiling texts on sorcery, angels, and demons. The first book of the grimoire, the Ars Goetia ("Art of Witchcraft"), lists a hierarchy of demons that rule over Hell, listing Saleos as a a Great Duke or Great Earl of Hell. He is described as a pacifist who can make men and women fall in love, depicted as a handsome soldier wearing a crown and riding a crocodile.
