The Burrowing Spit Worm is a Darkwood enemy.
Appearance
The Burrowing Spit Worm looks similar to a bush, with large pustules sticking out. At its head are several branches sticking out, with a mouth filled with small teeth.
Behavior
When the Burrowing Spit Worm hasn't noticed the player, it will stand immobile.
The Burrowing Spit Worm functions similarly to the Burrowing Spike Worm, with some differences. For one, it doesn't leave a trail of spikes when burrowing. Also, upon popping out of the ground, it fires a burst of Green Orb projectiles in the player's general direction. The landing spot of the Green Orbs can be seen via the (X) indicators on the ground.
